Message from the President

TADASEIKI GROUP specializes in the manufacture of dies and molds (hereafter "dies and molds" will be written as "molds" for short). I have succeeded my predecessor as the President of TADASEIKI GROUP.

Molds may look like mere lumps of metal, but they are important tools and a key driver of productivity for our customers. In repetitive production and consumption world, today, it would be significant to bring suitable and sustainable molds for efficient production.

On a yearly basis, our Group manufactures around 500 molds. Each one of them is valued individually by our users and it has a decisive influence on each customer's productivity.

Thanks to the confidence and trust from our customers and in order to keep the quality of our work, we do strive for the continuous improvement.

I inherited from my predecessor not only the Group itself, but also a responsibility for our products, for its future use. That is to say, our activity should contribute for our customers, its users and also our society. To these ends, I would sincerely appreciate your future guidance and consideration.

1In-house process

We are committed to the in-house production of molds and to respond flexibly and earnestly to satisfy your requirements and resolve any issues that may arise.
2Knowledge and experience in molds

Our challenge and experience for the complicated molds, those that others may give up on as being too difficult, has helped us to refine our techniques and to build up an impressive set of skills in mold designing and machine-tool handling. In addition, our craftsmen have the opportunity to use this accumulated know-how on a daily basis to apply the finishing touches to the operation of over 500 products every year. Our technical knowledge and practical skills, together with the sensitivity of our craftsmen, thus differentiate us from our competitors.
3R&D for a wide variety of requirements

To manufacture high value-added injected/die-casted products requires both high quality and high precision molds. Taking full advantage of our dedicated in-house production system, we propose and conduct a necessary R&D to realize your requirements. "When it comes to molds, nobody can beat TADASEIKI" so much so that nowadays some customers actively seek out and value our advice concerning their longer-term projects.
4Introduction of the latest equipment

We introduced 3D CAD/CAM/CAE systems and 3D printers before any other did. These state-of-the-art IT technologies strongly support production every step of the way from designing to machining, and have given us the confidence to accept demanding and complicated molds. To ensure that our plant uses the best quality materials, workpieces (ingots) undergo initial facing work and surface treatment as well as heat treatment. In addition, our three-surface grinding machines can achieve precise right-angled corners on workpieces. We pursue ongoing improvements in the manufacture of high quality molds, through a combination of sophisticated craftsmanship and the most advanced machines.
5Selected materials

Our in-depth knowledge of each work material's individual profile including abrasion resistance and corrosion resistance enables us to provide molds with high durability and high productivity. Initially founded as a grinding company for steel products, and our direct dealings with major raw material manufacturers, we acquired technical understanding of each work material's properties. We are therefore well-placed to recommend the most suitable metals for optimizing your functional requirements.
6Open to IoT and IT initiatives

Through ongoing improvement of our IT infrastructure, enabling faster and faster information sharing, we continue to make progress in reducing production lead-time. We also develop novel IoT Systems aimed at solving the problems in manufacturing. Moreover, we collaborate together with academic research institute for developping a next-generation molds with IT sensor to obtain the data of resin temperature, vibration or pression during injection. Such IT related developments allow us to forsee our new business model in the near future.

Piping joints

This joint was made with 3 stage-slides, as it is obvious not to be able to pull once,
because of the complex undercuts.
Each slide uses only mecanical-cam drive for opening & closing,
from the 3rd to 2nd stage by taking a good balance of timing in a sequential order.
Thanks to this multi-slide mechanism, such product considered to be impossible is now available.
Real design molds

This real design/decorative mold refers to a high value-added mold with CFRP patterns on its surface.
The designs are drawn with "art modeling" technique, based on high definition CG design software.
These are transcribed on the mold's surface using a state-of-the-art laser processing machine.
Then, binary-resin injection brings a crystal-like texture on the product.

Our molds are used in the wide range of sectors.
